Tori Jane is a storm chaser, writer, photographer, and the village idiot - in that order. When she's not out and about dancing with the meanest storms on planet Earth for funsies she can be found wandering, shooting landscapes, writing, editing photos, and otherwise up to no good. Legend has it that she can also be occasionally spotted typing up short bios in the third person, but those rumors are unsubstantiated.
As the days get longer and much warmer, it’s only natural to start seeking out places to cool down. Luckily for us, there are hundreds of swimming holes in Indiana that are well worth a visit. There are so many, in fact, that you could probably make a whole trip out of trying to see most of them before the summer season ends. One, in particular, is great for more than just cooling off; White Rock Park is an awesome place not just for swimming but for its more adventurous side, too.
The park is the perfect place to spend time with friends and family.
No matter how you choose to spend your time here, you're sure to have a grand one. There's a bunch of fun stuff to do at White Rock Park - more so than your average swimming hole, for sure.

Plan a weekend filled with cliff diving, scuba diving, swimming, fishing, camping, and more.
Guests are also welcome to go rafting, and there's something really peaceful about just drifting on the lake without a care in the world or a plan for later. Just make sure you've got your sunblock ready; nobody needs the worst sunburn ever because they were so relaxed on the water that they fell asleep (it's totally happened before).
The tallest is 10 meters high; there's also a rope swing and two ziplines to enjoy! Like we said... you're going to be pretty busy at White Rock Park, but we promise: it's going to be great.
There are also multiple primitive campsites with awesome lake views.
If that's not quite your style, no worries - you can also reserve a riverside campsite if that's more appealing. No matter what, you're getting some of the best outdoor recreation Indiana has to offer.
If you're a scuba diver, you're in for a real treat.
Beneath the surface of the lake, there are several sunken objects to explore, including a school bus, a boat, and a car. There are all kinds of other things down there, too; we guess you'll have to take a dive to see it all and learn what the depths contain.
Visitors must sign a waiver upon entry to the park; it's up to you to make sure your trip is as safe as possible and that nobody in your party gets hurt.
For the most up-to-date admission information, instructions on how to reserve a campsite, and more, visit the official White Rock Park website.
